Using Your Brand Guide as a GPS
If we asked for your company’s brand guide, could you send us a formal document, or would you be copying and pasting text from your website?
If you’re in the latter category, don’t worry. A brand guide doesn’t have to be anything complex. It can be a simple one-page document with key statements describing your company, what you offer, and why you do it.
Each company’s brand guide will look a little different, but here is some language to consider:
Long-form boilerplate messaging
Short-form elevator pitch
Language for social media profiles
Services overview
Company story, mission, vision, purpose, values
Tone of voice
A brand guide is important for consistency and cohesiveness, so everyone is talking about your company in the same way.
Overwhelmed? You Aren't Alone...
If your company doesn’t have a brand guide, now is the time to get started. Send us a note to get on our schedule.
